A Passion Project Brought to Life
As a former teacher, I am always intrigued to hear someone’s story; and my former students will instantly know what you mean when you say, My Passion Project. It was one of my favorite projects during the school year and Lauren Sigman the woman behind the creation of Lauren Sigman Collection would have been a perfect guest speaker to share her real life Passion Project with my students.
And this is where her “Passion Project” begins...
It’s a familiar story, I’m sure some of us can relate. Grow up, go to college, get a job, and live your life. But somewhere along the way, if you’re lucky, your passion will find a way to come to life; and you will be called to share your gifts with the world. And that is exactly what Lauren Sigman did!
I met Lauren during one of my visits to The Grove to see the new fashion arrivals and to get an orchid from The Tiny Orchid on “Tiny Orchid Tuesday”. Her collection is located within The Grove and is just stunning! So many fun, unique pieces, it’s hard to decide which one’s are your favorite; but what grabbed my attention was her Instagram Post that day. Lauren posted a photo of a custom piece she created for one of her customers. My instant thought was, “What!?! Lauren creates custom pieces?” Not only was the photo almost exactly what I was looking for, it was gorgeous!
So, naturally, I hauled my cookies up to The Grove to find out how I get my own custom ring. Not that I needed another reason to visit The Grove, but now I can add Lauren Sigman Collection to the list of best things about this place.
What I love most about Lauren is her passion for what she does. You can literally feel it. You can feel the admiration she has for her art.
Have you ever spent time with someone and you leave thinking, “Where did the time go?”
Well, that’s exactly how I’d describe my visit with Lauren. During my visit to discuss the options for my custom ring design, I lost track of the time and spent about an hour talking with Lauren about my ring. And do you know why time seems to stand still or get away from you when you’re spending time with someone? Because they are sharing what they love with you in a way you can feel it, too! And if that is not enough, what I really appreciated about Lauren, the option that was best for me, was actually less expensive than what I was originally thinking.
It just doesn’t get any better than that. Someone living out their passion and sharing their gift with the world is a true inspiration for us all! I know Lauren would love to share her gifts with you, also! Stop into The Grove the next time you’re in Winter Park, Florida; and you can experience time standing still, too!
