Local Business for 30 Years!
This local business literally saved our backyard. I know it sounds a little dramatic, but the difference in our backyard after we added the bamboo was dramatic.
Our neighbor hired a company to clean up her backyard and unbeknownst to her they literally cleaned up the entire backyard. They removed ALL the lush greenery along our fence line and left her with a blank canvas of dirt. The only thing blocking our view was a plain white vinyl fence and it was, well UGLY.
We needed something to bring our tropical oasis back fast and budget friendly.
We had thought about bamboo, but most people will tell you their bamboo horror stories. That’s how we found Jungle Jack’s Bamboo Nursery and learned all the pros and cons about bamboo because some species of bamboo are invasive and can cause all kinds of trouble.

Con’s of Bamboo
Known for being one of the most invasive plants on the planet.
Bamboo rhizomes can grow underground several feet (upwards of 20 feet/6 meters or more) in a very short period of time.
Bamboo can be a threat to native plants and will outcompete them for habitat.
Bamboo can be difficult to remove if you like to change the landscape of your garden often.

Pro’s of Bamboo
Bamboo absorbs greenhouse gases and releases oxygen into the atmosphere.
It is also a renewable resource that may help save the world’s dwindling forests.
It’s extensive root system, prevents soil erosion.
Low maintenance, grows fast, and does not require a lot of water.
Not all bamboo is invasive. All of Jungle Jack’s Bamboo is clumping bamboo, not running. So, it will absolutely not take over the yard, but instead it grows quickly to its full beauty and height.
Jack’s Jungle is an Expert
James Jack is an expert and knows his Bamboo! He can help you decide which species are the best for your landscaping goals. We couldn’t believe that the four to five little stalks of bamboo we planted turned into a wall of lush greenery and restored our backyard into a tropical paradise in less than a year. It has been one of the best landscaping decisions we have made. Plus, bamboo is super fun to watch grow! If you’re thinking about adding bamboo to your landscaping plans, we highly recommend using a trust worthy vendor like Jungle Jack’s Bamboo Nursery.
