Looking for a fun activity to do while you’re out viewing Christmas Lights this holiday season? Simply print the list and set out on your adventure. You can make up your own rules or use ours.
Rules:
If you’re in the same car playing together, print the Scavenger Hunt List for each person playing. Determine how long you will play the game, we kept ours to an hour. The first person to find an item on the list gets to mark it off their list. The other players can continue to search for the items found by the other players until time is up or someone finds all the items on the Scavenger Hunt List.
If you are playing in separate cars, print the Scavenger Hunt for each car. Then each car takes a picture of the items they find within a designated amount of time, we kept ours to an hour; and then meet back at a designated time and place to verify photos. Person with the most found items is the winner.
When our children were younger the thrill of looking for lights was all they needed! However, we soon learned the thrill of the lights soon wears off in the teenage years. This was a fun way to get them engaged in the family tradition and keep making fun holiday memories!
